We are looking for an accomplished, multifaceted, self-motivated email marketing manager who is willing to take a crucial revenue-driving and customer-facing marketing channel for Nurture Life and drive exponential improvement in its performance. Our ideal candidate is someone who is a strategic marketer for the email channel but also simultaneously data-driven and creative. Nurture Life is a rapidly growing startup in the foodtech industry led by a team with decades of experience in the technology and food and beverage industries. 



  • Lead the holistic email marketing strategy and execution for Nurture Life with the full responsibility for hitting email channel KPIs including acquisitions, winbacks, open rates, and conversion rates
  • Plan, create and manage email marketing campaigns focused on driving customer conversion, lead generation, customer retention, winbacks and content distribution
  • Create a rigorous A/B testing and optimization process for the email channel that will continuously drive incremental performance wins within Nurture Life’s email marketing
  • Create an email messaging content calendar and roadmap that effectively communicates to our existing and potential customer base
  • Lead and manage the creative, content, and workflow processes for all email communications
  • Embrace segmentation and create targeted segments and segment-specific content that will drive better, more relevant content for Nurture Life customers and prospective customers
  • Develop advanced analytics and reporting measuring performance across all of our email marketing initiatives
  • Translate insights from the email channel into actionable learnings across all channels including SMS
  • Lead the development and creation of our SMS strategy
  • Collaborate with a motivated Marketing team to integrate the email strategy into the holistic marketing, customer acquisition, and customer retention strategies
  • Work within our ESP and Business Intelligence tools to effectively execute email marketing workflows and campaigns
  • Evaluate Nurture Life’s current ESP and determine what new platforms, technologies, or tools should be utilized



  • 3+ years managing the email channel for a direct-to-consumer brand is a must. Direct experience working on a direct-to-consumer subscription service is a plus
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • Be Nurture Life’s biggest consumer champion, going above and beyond to grow our brand in one of our most forward-facing channels
  • Experience working within an ESP; Iterable experience a plus
  • Well versed in analytic systems and business intelligence tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Excel, and Looker
  • Rigorous experience creating A/B testing and optimization plans for the email channel
  • Strong content creation capabilities spanning visual graphic design to writing creative copy
  • Have strong communication skills, time management skills and adherence to project timelines
  • Have strong experience in dissecting large, disparate sources of data and deriving insights
  • Be a data driven marketing professional, SQL or data analysis experience is a plus
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and work with cross-functional teams to successfully drive agile marketing innovation and execution
  • Multitask, working within deadlines and shifting gears in a fast-paced environment
  • Seize opportunities to produce results without direct supervision and direction at times
