We are looking for a talented and driven inventory control team member who is detailed-oriented and works well with record keeping. Nurture Life is a rapidly growing startup in the foodtech industry led by a team with decades of experience in the technology and food and beverage industries. Responsible for managing the product development and commercialization lifecycle including market and customer research, ideation, recipe creation, taste acceptance, ingredient sourcing, formulation, commercialization, launch and manufacturing with production team, continuous improvement of processes and meeting regulatory and food safety requirements.



  1. Assists purchasing team with clerical tasks such as data entry and record keeping
  2. Maintain accurate inventory records
  3. Run and maintain physical cycle and spot counts on various stock items
  4. Regularly communicate with departments including procurement, production, and receiving
  5. Distributes updates on scheduling and procurement
  6. Helps maintain inventory of materials and parts needed to complete production
  7. Examine documents, materials and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess quality, accuracy, and conformation to standards and specifications 
  8. Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures 



  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in inventory management, preferably in a food manufacturing or operations 
  • High School Degree/GED required
  • Proficient in basic computer software 
  • Ability to be successful in fast moving startup environments

  • Work environment involves moderate to high noise (warehouse setting) and working in refrigerated coolers and freezers 
  • Work environment involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving machines and forklifts in production facilities  Protective clothing or gear such as goggles, gloves and slip resistant shoes and other PPE may be required



  • Ability to work with computer equipment and inventory management programs 
  • Work requires some physical strain such as long continuous periods of standing and walking in production facility
  • Must be able to push, carry, lift and/or pull 70lbs and greater
  • Other physical demands include climbing, crouching and/or reaching
