We are looking for a detail-oriented, driven and eager Financial Analyst / Accountant to grow with our Finance team. This individual will report to the Head of Finance and is excited to learn about our business and help establish new processes as we continue to build out the Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting and analytical background in corporate finance, consulting or investment banking and is a self-starter that takes initiative. Nurture Life is a rapidly growing company in the foodtech industry led by a team with decades of experience in the technology and food and beverage industries. Your days will consist of…

  • Partnering with marketing, operational excellence, and revenue management teams to understand actuals, budget (forecast) and AOP, be able to explain variances and communicate risks and/or opportunities 
  • Managing weekly financial dashboards to provide visibility on current revenue progress and pacing of actuals for the month
  • Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting variances
  • Maintaining and improving reporting within QuickBooks (transitioning to NetSuite) to allow real-time insights across the organization 
  • Perform detailed analysis on historical financial results to explain performance across channels, product lines and customers to arm cross functional leaders with insights to drive business decisions 
  • Organizing the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy on volume and net sales by product, customer, and COGS
  • Ensuring data is booked timely, accurately, and consistently with details and attributes needed for performance management and analysis 
  • Working to build and improve financial processes to enable actionable insights 
  • Represent the Finance department on projects where applicable and perform analysis on financial implications 
  • Leading initiatives to create and improve processes that increase visibility and accuracy using new system tools

  • Have 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
  • Be a registered CPA
