We are looking for a creative, driven UX/UI Designer interested in working on a progressive marketing team. This position will report to the Head of Growth and is responsible for the UX/UI design of our website and creating impactful design elements that can be deployed across all of Nurture Life’s digital channels. The ideal candidate is passionate about being part of a company that creates the very best meals for kids. Your days will consist of…

  • Design Nurture Life’s digital customer experience across desktop and mobile platforms with continuous focus on user experience optimization
  • Bring DTC website UX / UI best practices to Nurture Life to create a streamlined and clear user experience that contributes to revenue and CRO objectives
  • Illustrate website design ideas, scenarios, end-to-end experiences and interaction models using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with internal and external teams
  • Design graphic user interface elements like menus, tabs and widgets for the Nurture Life website
  • Develop UI mockups (i.e. wireframes) and prototypes that clearly illustrate site functionality
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
  • Create and produce graphic assets for all Nurture Life digital media assets including the website, email, video, social media and print media
  • Develop print-ready materials like product packaging, customer collateral, direct mail, printables and/or other printed materials as needed
  • Design, create and optimize landing pages
  • Manage creative assignments through all stages of development, from concept to production, while being accommodating to changes and feedback from the marketing team and key stakeholders

  • Be Nurture Life’s biggest visual champion, going above and beyond to grow our brand on our most forward-facing channels
  • 5+ years of proven work experience as a UI/UX designer or similar role for a direct-to-consumer brand
  • 5+ years of proven work experience as a graphic designer of digital marketing assets (e.g., graphics, display ads, etc.) for a direct-to-consumer brand
  • BS in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
  • Expert with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Unbounce and Adobe Premier
  • Be experienced in using wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
  • Have HTML/CSS experience and understanding how your design will be implemented
  • Demonstrate a robust portfolio of prior work that demonstrates a strong sense of branding, UX and UI
  • Demonstrate ability to bring abstract concepts to life through illustration, iconography and photography
  • Have strong communication skills, time management skills and adherence to project timelines
  • Be a strong problem-solver with a passion for creating and promoting great design
  • Have visual design skills utilizing visual elements (like color, pattern, image, illustration, typography, infographics, etc) with ability to demonstrate a complete understanding about how these elements relate to overall marketing goals
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and work with cross-functional teams to successfully drive agile marketing innovation and execution
  • Multitask, working within deadlines and shifting gears in a fast-paced environment
  • Seize opportunities to produce results without direct supervision and direction at times
